Kiwi Syslog Daemon is an advanced application to collect and manage system logs in Windows platforms. It can receive, store, show on-screen and send on any message that the system receives from routers, firewalls, Unix hosts ... in summary, from any device that has support for Syslog. The program configuration options and possibilities are enormous.
Among its main features it has LinkSys firewall logs, support for SNMP and TCP protocols, filters via scripts, and PIX. The Syslog messages can be processed in many different ways, using events like the following:
* Show a message in the scroll window.
* Save a message in a text file.
* Send on a message to another Syslog manager.
* Save it to an ODBC database.
* Save it in an NT Application Event Log.
* Send the message to someone via email using an SMTP protocol.
* Activate a sound alarm.
* Run another external program.
* Send an SNMP Trap message.
